The lifeless body of a man was discovered in a bush, rue de Steinbourg, in Strasbourg early in the afternoon, this Saturday, November 9. The body was located along a railway line which crosses the Cronenbourg district, according to information from Latest News from Alsace, confirmed by France 3 Alsace.
The perimeter was sealed off and investigations were launched in the area, notably in a vehicle which was located “near” the place where the body was discovered, according to a police source. The forensic police are on the scene. The Strasbourg public prosecutor's office took over the investigation.
This is the second macabre discovery of the weekend in the Alsatian capital. A homeless man was found dead on rue de la Mésange, in the city center, this Friday, November 8.
