Christelle Uyar took up the position of general director of the Association to generate integration and success at the end of August 2024 (Agir 36). She succeeds Yves-Henry Lafond, who held this position since the beginning of 2023.
Like her predecessor, Christelle Uyar went through the home help sector where she worked for around twenty years. “I have always had this social fiber. Within Agir, I remain in the social and solidarity economy, but I now work with a different audience. Our role is to support these people with difficult life paths towards independence by helping them to remove the obstacles that prevent their return to sustainable employment. summarizes this 44-year-old Castelroussine who joined the association in September 2023 as integration coordinator and human resources manager.
Based in Châteauroux, the Agir association supports nearly 300 people each year, thanks to its various integration projects: sorting and recycling the 1,000 tonnes of clothing collected in “Véti boxes” (donation containers); the animation of solidarity thrift stores and the Bon Chic Bon Genre online store; laundry-drying and sewing activities.
