What better time for a tribute to James Brown than June 21 and its music festival?
The Panam Kolectiv group (which regularly ignites the Comptoir brunches) is a collective of musicians passionate about soul and funk music. The hard core of the project is a power trio, led by singer and guitarist Brani Racic, and the rhythm section made up of Tristan Valentino on drums and Sébastien Gastine on bass. For a tribute to James Brown, the group includes Ludovic Allainmat on keyboards, and Brice Moscardini on trumpet who will lead the brass section.
On the evening’s program: a selection of songs by James Brown and the JB’s, with a readaptation of live or album orchestrations.
