Mathéo Lemoine, a young 19-year-old baker from Haut-Savoy, will compete in the national final of the 43rd Best Bakers Competition. The event which will be held from November 19 to 21, 2024 in Auxerre will bring together 18 finalists from all over France.
The young man, originally from Scionzier, was selected following departmental and regional selections. For the final of this competition organized by the National Confederation of French Bakery-Pâtisserie (CNBPF), he will face the other participants in theoretical and practical tests.

« This operation is intended to strengthen the passion of these young professionals so that they continue on this path of artisanal excellence. This competition can constitute a real career springboard for them which can open the doors to international competitions or lead them to set up on their own. », explains Dominique Anract, president of the CNBPF.
