Arnaud Bord, who ran during the last legislative elections in 2022, had recently expressed his desire to run again. The day after the announcement of the agreement between the left-wing parties for the “New Popular Front”, the Alésien was designated candidate for the 4th constituency of Gard.
It was only a matter of hours. Arnaud Bord is now officially a candidate for the early legislative elections on June 30 and July 7, in the event of a second round. He is running under the banner of the “New Popular Front” in the 4th constituency, with Cathy Ville-Chaulet, departmental councilor, as substitute. Aurélie Wagner, Reconquest candidate in this same constituency in 2022, will not participate in this election, just like Christophe Clot. Philippe Ribot chose to get involved locally, as he explained in the show The club Gard Objective a few days ago.
Update on the candidates for the fourth district
Arnaud Bord (New Popular Front) will face Pierre Meurin, outgoing deputy of the National Rally (RN), Nadia El Okki of Renaissance, and Pierre Martin of the Republicans (LR), elected to the city of Alès. More applications, but few, are expected to be reported by Sunday, the application deadline.
