Goodbye Casino, welcome Auchan ! After several years of existence, the Géant Casino located in the Salvaza area in Carcassonne (Aude) permanently closed its doors on Friday May 31.

At 8:00 a.m. this Wednesday June 12, Auchan opened in the same premises. “The new hypermarket extends over 6610 m² in total », Explains the management of the French retail giant.

All the employees of the former Casino were taken over to work for the Auchan group on a daily basis on site.

Asked by Actu.fr, the management of the multinational reveals behind the scenes and the objectives of this opening.
