Of the 33 candidates that the National Rally nominated this Thursday, two thirds (22) were already candidates nominated by Marine Le Pen’s party. This is particularly the case of the six outgoing deputies from the North, starting with Sébastien Chenu, current vice-president of the RN and of the National Assembly, in Denain. But also the six from Pas-de-Calais, notably Marine Le Pen, in the Hénin-Beaumont constituency. All the new deputies of 2022 are also reappointed, such as Pierrick Berteloot in Flanders or Caroline Parmentier in Béthunois.

Among the other candidates who have already done one lap or more in the legislative elections, we find Sandra Delannoy who almost was elected in Sambre two years ago, or even Marc de Fleurian in Calais or Bruno Clavet in Lens. This is also the great stability in Pas-de-Calais where all the 2022 candidates are renewed, with the exception of the 4e constituency where Benoît Dolle, also director of the Hopale Foundation in Berck, takes the place of Françoise Vanpeene.

In the North, the renewal is more marked: 10 changes out of 21. First with the arrival of right-wing elected officials claiming to belong to the “Ciotti line” of rallying to the RN: the various right-wing departmental advisor Marie-Hélène Quatreboeufs. The arrival of an LR formerly elected in Paris and recently joined by Jordan Bardella was also mentioned in Flanders Maritime.
