The Tacan (Everything Agen runs at Christmas) breaks its record
This year, the Tacan (All Agen runs at Christmas), a popular race organized by the ASPTT Agen athletics, will take place on Saturday December 14. From 8 p.m., thousands will set off over a distance of 5 or 10 kilometers (departure at 8:30 p.m.), from Boulevard de la République. And for its 10 years of existence, the race beats its attendance record with more than 2,500 people registered (registrations are closed).

In Agen, the ceremony commemorating the armistice of November 11, 1918 will take place Monday at 10:45 a.m., Place Armand-Fallières. It will be hosted by Daniel Barnier, prefect from Lot-et-Garonne. IThis is 106e anniversary of the convention ending the fighting of the First World War.

Du 47 dans nos plates offers an event at Crochepierre college in Villeneuve
Tuesday, November 12 at 11:30 a.m., an event will be offered at the Crochepierre college in Villeneuve-sur-Lot (newly labeled “committed organic establishment”) by the Du 47 dans nos plates team. An activity organized as part of the 3rd edition of Organic Week, co-organized by the Departmental Council of Lot-et-Garonne and Interbio Nouvelle-Aquitaine, which will take place from November 25 to 30. As a reminder, the event will end with the famous organic market organized at the Hôtel du Département in Agen on November 30.

For the holidays, the artisans set up shop at Galerie 110 in Agen
For Christmas, the Artisans 47 association is setting up a pop-up store for the fifth year in a row, at Galerie 110 in Agen. From November 5 to January 4, around fifteen artisans working in different fields will exhibit their creations: jewelry, ceramics, leather goods, woodworking, manipulation of light by working with paper and cardboard, weaving, stained glass… Lovers of Art crafts thus have the opportunity to consume locally and participate through this civic gesture in maintaining and supporting small businesses that have know-how and talent. Several vouchers will be up for grabs throughout the duration of the exhibition.
