Women’s African Football Championship – Morocco 2024. A Challenging Draw for the Atlas Lionesses.
The group stage of the African Champions League is set to kick off. In this first match of Group B, the draw has paired two Moroccan teams, Raja and ASFAR, in an all-Moroccan encounter scheduled for tonight at 20:00 at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.
This initial match is a tough challenge for both sides, who have struggled to find their rhythm in the Botola league. While the Greens and the Military can still make amends in the championship, opportunities to rectify their form in continental competition are limited, and every point gained will bring the winning club closer to qualification for the next round.
Expect an exciting clash that will follow another match in the group, where South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns will face Congo’s AS Maniema starting at 17:00.
