Internet, a tool that has become essential

What is life without the Internet? “It’s very complicated,” asserts another resident of the residence. Orange customers were the first to find a connection. “For those at SFR, Free or Bouygues, it took even longer, because Orange did not no communication on the problem to other operators according to Free. It’s heartbreaking,” points out Aymeric Mahiet.

An assertion that Orange disputes. “ This is not true. Everything is computerized, subcontractors are notified within hours. »

A degraded service since

On November 5, 2024, the Internet connection was restored at Aymeric Mahiet. But the service leaves something to be desired according to him. “There is an installation problem. A Free technician reconnected me, but I am connected with a signal quality significantly lower than normal. This situation is unacceptable. »

“From now on,” he continues, “Free will only intervene in the event of disconnection, which is inadmissible. Free does not want to send technicians to check the installations or even take flow readings with their devices. I pay €56 for a degraded service. »

“Orange is supposed to carry out an inventory after the fire, measure the impact, the flow rates, the number of fibers still available…”
