In 2023, an archaeological diagnosis confirmed the presence of remains on a plot near Ris beach, in Douarnenez (Finistère), where the community of municipalities plans to develop an infiltration basin. A call for tenders was launched to assess the cost of the compulsory searches.

This is called “falling on a bone”. Douarnenez community plans to develop an infiltration basin on a plot belonging to Epab (1)located upstream of Ris beach, in Douarnenez (Finistère), and a wetland, near Chemin des Aigrettes. The structure would serve as an outlet for the urban watershed. Concretely, it would make it possible to retain, store and “purge” rainwater, polluted by animal excrement and waste thrown on the roads, before its infiltration into the soil.
