Around 8 a.m., a dump truck allegedly struck a pedestrian bridge, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).

The Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW), closed in both directions Tuesday morning in Mississauga, reopened around noon, according to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP). A dump truck had crashed into a pedestrian bridge.

There PPO indicates the collision occurred around 8 a.m.

The bridge is under construction. No injuries were reported.

There QEW has been closed between the roads Cawthra And Dixie because a crew needed to safely remove the truck, police said.
