Witness to an altercation between an elderly person and a teenager on the steps of the town hall, Wednesday November 6, David Nicolas, the mayor of Avranches (South Manche), calls for “the urgency of recreating muscular educational systems to try to put these individuals back on the right path.”

The mayor recounted the facts on his Facebook page the next day: “Avranches, yesterday at 2:30 p.m., on the steps of the town hall, as I arrived for a meeting, I noticed an altercation between an elderly person and a teenager who insulted her and refuses to apologize. »

“While I am trying to understand the situation, the group of young people is growing with the arrival of older people who are well known for having committed multiple acts of degradation of all kinds for several months,” continues the councilor.

“Sad observation of kids who refuse any form of authority or ordinary social framework and who declare with pride that they will continue to break,” laments David Nicolas.

“In such circumstances we understand the urgency of recreating strong educational systems to try to put these individuals back on the right path,” he demands.
