As usual, the Saint-Martin Fair in Seyssel, one of the oldest and most important in the region, takes place this November 11, 2024. Come and enjoy an unmissable event full of sharing and conviviality!

Program of the Saint-Martin Fair in Seyssel

More than 700 years old, the Saint-Martin Fair was above all a moment of exchange between remote farmers and other villagers. To honor its history, the town of Seyssel transforms each year into a real agricultural fair. With kilometers of stands and thousands of visitors, the Saint-Martin Fair is the ideal opportunity to discover local products, artisans and local producers. Between activities, tastings and commemorations, here is the program of the event:

  • Many stands : Stroll among more than 200 exhibitors, associations, producers and artisans from the surrounding area.
  • Refreshment bar and catering : Tartiflette, Savoyard sandwiches, snails, frog legs and many other local specialties will be available to taste at the event's numerous food stands.
  • Commemoration of the armistice of November 11, 1918 : A ceremony with speeches and a minute of silence in tribute to the fighters of the First World War will be held at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Seyssel war memorial.
  • Drums fanfare La Seysselane : Parade and musical entertainment throughout the day.
  • Manufacture and sale of pudding : An unmissable and tasty tradition not to be missed!
  • Livestock fair : Meet the farm animals of local breeders.
  • Traditional meal in the village hall.
