Bocage Mayennais, centered around Gorron, in Mayenne, validated at the end of October 2024, the installation of the company D2N on a new site of Desertines.

The company D2N, storage cereals and agricultural trading, has two sites, one in Teilleul, the other in Désertines.

All equipment is now used at full capacity. D2N therefore wishes to create another storage site, while separating itself from the one present in the heart of the town of Désertines.


Operational in 4 years

D2N contacted the Community of Communes of Bocage Mayennais (CCBM) and the commune of Desertines to help him in this operation.

It was agreed that the Commune and the Community of municipalities buy back the land in question from the owner, so that they can develop it, before they resell it to D2N.

« The terrain has an area of ​​25,042 m² and its price is €2 per m². The servicing would cost around €100,000.

It would essentially consist of deviating the line Haute Tension which is currently on the ground”, specifies Bruno Lestas, president of the Community of Communes, and mayor of Désertines.

And protocol was written in order to determine, between the Community of Communes and the municipality, who does what. It was planned to resell at D2N for the price of €5 per m² (services carried out).

After deliberation and voting, the entire project was validated.

“It’s been a year and a half since I was asked about this issue,” said the president, conclusion from this point. Their project will be operational over 4 years. There will only be storage the first year, as well as a transfer “. There will therefore be no job creation to begin with.
