A 17-year-old teenager died in a motorcycle accident that occurred this Wednesday, November 6, 2024, around noon, in Liévin (Pas-de-Calais). He would have lost control of his two-wheeler, a motocross bike, while he was driving in the rue d'Artois and would have hit an electricity pylon, reports The Voice of the North .

Traffic cut off

The young man was in cardio-respiratory arrest when the firefighters and a Smur team arrived, indicates France Blue North . He died at the scene of the accident, despite emergency efforts to resuscitate him. The national and municipal police went to the scene and traffic was cut off on Rue d'Artois during the intervention.
