The sixteen sites still in competition face off in a duel until December 1st. Residents are called to vote.
Initially, 57 sites were in competition. Today, there are only 16 left. The natural spaces face off in a duel over a period of 6 days. Since Monday, the Guînes marsh is opposite the Lake of Ardres and the Slack Dunes are opposite the Terril du Téléphérique. Residents can vote on Eden 62's social networks.
The round of 16 was a success. More than 10,000 votes were counted and the municipalities mobilized to defend their site. Kevin Wimez, Communications Manager at Eden 62.
This Thursday is marked by the launch of the Cap Blanc-Nez duel against the Étangs du Romelaëre.
The Romelaere ponds nature reserve, which is located near Saint-Omer, extends over around a hundred hectares.
The round of 16 phase ends on December 1. The quarter-finals will begin the next day. In addition to the competition, Eden 62 regularly organizes activities on natural sites. 200 discovery meetings are on the program each year. On November 17, an autumn getaway will be offered in the Écault dunes. The public, who is expected in the Warenne car park at 10:00 a.m., will discover the animals, flowers and fruits present on the site this season.
