An Italian aperitivo at Bevo in the heart of the Old Town

Are you the type of person who runs happy hours like stars run red carpets? We found a new one for you and we’re pretty sure you’ll subscribe because you’ll love it!

Bevo, do you know? It’s a little gem of a pizzeria located on Saint-Vincent Street, in the heart of Old Montreal.

The place is famous for its pizza oven-baked Neapolitans — the best in Montreal (really) — and its antipasti.

Bevo is a spot authentically Italian where the food is excellent and very varied. Lunch, Dinner and Dessert Menus, everything is there, even homemade pasta and meat and fish dishes.

The square becomes even more interesting when you know where it comes to life: in a 19th century building.e century, magnificently renovated, but which has retained 100% of its historical character.

An atmosphere that is both lively and cozy — it’s not for nothing that we recommend that you go there for your next 5 to 7 downtown.

We’re going to make you a confession: we fell in love with Bevo’s terrace. It must be said that it is located on the pedestrian street. No cars, but plenty to look at when you sit there and enjoy life with a good drink.

Speaking of glass, we almost forgot. The Montreal pizzeria, where everything is prepared with lovealso offers a generous drinking menu, with international wines, cocktails, beers and digestives.

At the moment, there is a promotion, called Italian Apéro, which is worth the trip: a mini price on Peroni Nastro Azzurro beer from Monday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., right in the hour of the 5 at 7.

Normally, beer is $9 a glass and $11 a pint, but Bevo is reducing its price during this time.

Just to make a quick digression, Peroni Nastro Azzurro is a beer with delicately balanced bitterness, aromatic notes of citrus and spices, with a clean and frank finish. It is super easy to match with dishes.

Carnivore or vegetarian, you’re guaranteed to find something good to eat between your sips of Peroni Nastro Azzurro.

And if you want to go with a gang (the place is perfect for groups and events), Bevo has something super interesting for you: its Pizza Workshop where you can, with chef Giovanni Vella, create your own version of their Romapolitan pizza — a fusion of Neapolitan and Roman pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

On this note, we invite you to add 410, rue Saint-Vincent to your agenda for the week to live an experience ofaperitivo Italian style which will make you want to make another, another and another.

Reserve your place on the Bevo website at https://bevopizza.com/ and let us know!
