If you live in Seine-et-Marne, are aged between 18 and 29 and are interested in being a police officer, there is still time to apply. The national police are looking for 75 assistant police officers to complete its workforce (137 agents).
Registrations for the competition are currently open on the website of the Ministry of the Interior (www.police-nationale.interieur.gouv.fr/nous to join, target the sections “Becoming a police officer” and “Seine-et-Marne session”) and will be closed on December 27 . No diploma is required.
Four-month paid training
Written tests are scheduled for February 2025 at the Rungis examination center (Val-de-Marne). There will also be a sports test and an oral exam scheduled between March 3 and 6. The 75 selected candidates will be trained for four months in the police schools of Draveil (Essonne), Sens (Yonne) or Reims (Marne).This training (handling of weapons, legal fundamentals, technical gestures in intervention) will be paid.
At the end of this, police trainees will be assigned to different units (Rescue police, specialized field brigades, public roads, administrative detention center, etc.) located near their home. The basic salary is set at 1,500 euros net with the possibility of taking internal competitions as part of career development.
