Claude Baujoin is dead. In the department, he was well known to the firefighters. For 10 years, he served as president of the Departmental Union of Oise Firefighters.

“A career full of responsibilities”
Claude Baujoin “left his mark on the SDIS of Oise throughout his career”, we can read in this message. “From May 1, 1961, he took charge of the Thourotte rescue center, a center which now bears his name. This position marks a career rich in responsibilities.”
On September 19, 1989, Claude Baujoin was promoted to the rank of commander, “an advancement which underlines his commitment and dynamism”.
On January 1, 1992, he was appointed assistant inspector to the Director (IAD), “a position which strengthens his strategic role in the management and organization of emergency services”.
The president of the SDIS of Oise pays tribute to him
“As president of the Departmental Union for 10 years, Claude Baujoin was able to unite by instilling a spirit of solidarity and cohesion among firefighters, veterans and JSPs and SDIS agents. His journey is the illustration of an unfailing commitment to the protection and security of residents,” testifies the SDIS on its Facebook page.
Still on social networks, the president of the SDIS of Oise Eric de Valroger also pays tribute to Claude Baujoin. “This recognized officer, former president of the Departmental Union (Udsp Oise), leaves an indelible mark for the SDIS 60. I have a heartfelt thought for his children, who chose with passion to follow this noble vocation of serving and save.”
