A 25-year-old woman was found in a field in Orgeix (Ariège) after having been kidnapped and raped on the night of October 23 to 24, confirms the public prosecutor of Foix, to France Bleu Occitanie, Wednesday October 6. The young woman was found by local residents.
The suspect was arrested in the Pyrénées-Orientales the day after the incident. This 22-year-old man was indicted and then placed in pre-trial detention. This is an acquaintance of the victim, indicates Olivier Mouysset, the public prosecutor of Foix.
