The 22-year-old man who is accused of being behind the death of the young student initially refused his extradition to France before finally accepting.
The alleged murderer of the young Filipina, Taha Oualidat, was handed over to French authorities this Wednesday, November 6, BFMTV learned from a source close to the investigation. The latter was transferred from Switzerland to France, to Annemasse, in Haute-Savoie.
Still with our colleagues, this transfer would have taken place without incident. Taha O., was placed in the premises of the border police to be handed over to the prison administration which should ensure his travel to the Paris courthouse so that he can be presented to an investigating judge.
He had refused his extradition, before finally accepting
As a reminder, the suspect initially refused his extradition to France before reconsidering his choice. He is accused of being at the origin of the death of Philippine, this young student whose body was found in the Bois de Boulogne in Paris.
