Mickson, a biker from Chauffry, a small village in Seine-et-, owns a legendary motorcycle for a few more days. A Harley-Davidson that belonged to Johnny Hallyday in the 1980s. This motorcycle was also on stage with the famous rocker, for the concert to mark the bicentenary of the French Revolution in July 1989.

Today, Seine-et-Marnais has decided to part with it to finance its retirement. This Harley-Davidson will therefore be put on sale auction Saturday November 9, 2024 in during the Epoqu'Auto vintage vehicle show.

Mythical

A few days before the sale, Mickson confides about this legendary motorcycle of the singer which he bought from an individual: “It was one of Johnny's favorite Harleys. Johnny Hallyday really liked this bike.”

And Mickson indicates that Jean Basselin, the star's trusted man who had found this motorcycle for Johnny at the time, was present. Jean Basselin was the rock star's friend and secretary, his driver and his motorcycle manager.

New life

On site, he signed his book dedicated to Johnny's exceptional motorcycles and cars alongside Anne- d'Hauteville, also a well-known writer and journalist in Seine-et-Marne. The first woman to tour the world on a motorcycle, the author and adventurer traveled the continents alone on her motorcycles.
