Winter is coming slowly and with it, the irresistible desire for dishes that keep warm. This year, the La Rozélie creperie, installed in the heart of the magnificent castle du Rozel (Manche), is transformed during the cold season.
From the Friday November 8, 2024the pancakes give way to the scents of processed cheeses. It’s Emmanuel Armenoult who invites himself to the table to make La Rozélie a new unmissable winter event.
A fleeting experience
Emmanuel Armenoult is a cheesemaker known to everyone lovers of good products in the Cherbourg region. If you dream of a good raclette or a creamy fonduethis winter, he is setting up his platforms and his know-how in La Rozélie.
And it is still in the heart of the Château du Rozel, a peaceful place which invites calm and relaxationthat the magic will work.
Who is Manu the cheesemaker?
Emmanuel Armenoult, or Manu, is an authentic characterjust like the products it offers. Since he was very young, Manu has been immersed in agricultural worldsurrounded by his grandparents' cows.
Ses childhood memories are made of morning milkings, of the hay where he played, and of the simple values of family farm. Manu has never forgotten these roots.
Quickly, he knew he would want work for yourselfclose to the earth and local products. His cheese adventure began a little by chance: by seeing a local trader in Cherbourg, he said to himself: “Why not me? “.
If he started with sell fruits and vegetableshe quickly turned to cheese, and it was a revelation. Today, Manu has become an essential figure cheese in the area.
Choosing his products is for him a question of feelings and links with producers: there must be this human connection which guarantees quality . He confides:
I have the chance to work with one of the best refiners in France, a rare partnership which allows me to offer exceptional products.
This winter, he invites you to come and taste them on site at La Rozélie, or at take a tray homepour treat the whole family.
On site or takeaway trays
Lovers of raclette, fondue or curious to discover carefully selected cheeses, go to the Château du Rozel. Manu and his team await you there from Thursday noon to Monday evening for a winter season full of delicacy .
We will offer themed meetings, particularly for Beaujolais, end-of-year celebrations, or even Valentine's Day, among others.
Also, brunches on Sunday mornings or even buffetscheese at will on Sunday evenings .
A great opportunity to enjoy winter as it should be and to taste the traditionsthat warm our hearts.
