A 16-year-old teenager was seriously injured during a violent attack on Sunday afternoon in Gravelines, near Dunkirk (North).
The tragedy, which took place around 4 p.m., took place at the intersection of avenue Léon-Jouhaux and rue Jean-Jaurès. The victim, stabbed in the abdomen, was immediately treated by the emergency services and transported to the Dunkirk hospital center in a state of absolute emergency, his vital prognosis being compromised.
According to a source close to the investigation at Actu17, confirming information from Delta FM, two suspects aged 16 and 17 were quickly arrested by the police near the scene of the attack, around 4:15 p.m. These young people had a blood alcohol level slightly below one gram per liter of blood.
The police, who arrived on the scene shortly after the attack, collected testimonies and a physical description of the two individuals, which allowed their rapid arrest. An investigation into attempted murder has been opened in order to shed light on the circumstances of this violent act.
The two suspects were taken into custody and will have to answer questions from investigators in the coming hours.
