A 77-year-old retiree, sitting in the front of his vehicle, was punched several times by another motorist. The victim assumes that his speed did not suit the attacker who insulted him and fled.

André Nosjean has not returned since the attack he suffered this Sunday in Bagnac-sur-Célé in the Lot. This 77-year-old retiree remains marked by the blows he received, physically and psychologically. He agreed to return to the circumstances of this attack for which he was not at all prepared.

France 3 Occitanie: What happened?

André Nosjean: I was driving. From 80, I went to 50 in Bagnac. I saw at least two headlights flash and he was sticking to me. Before turning to go up to my house, he overtook me and cornered me. So I was tied up in the car, I couldn’t open the door and he hit me with the window which was down since it was hot on Sunday. The first blow was strong. Afterwards, I no longer felt. I don’t remember anymore, but according to witnesses, he hit me three times. I only felt one. Afterwards, I no longer felt.

France 3 Occitanie: Have you lost consciousness?

André Nosjean: No, but when I got out of the car, as I was stunned, I collapsed to the ground. And there, there are the witnesses who brought me to my aid. They made traffic, I was right in the middle of the road.

When he came out in the first second, I thought he was coming to yell. But no, he didn’t even yell, he insulted me, an insult, and he hit me.

France 3 Occitanie: You don’t understand, I imagine…

André Nosjean Occitanie: No. For what ? Especially since it’s limited to 50. I would have driven at 30 again, I would have made him sweat, but there, 50 was good.

France 3 Occitanie: What state of mind are you in?

André Nosjean: When we see on TV, a stabbing of a young person who kills another, that’s a fight with me. Tomorrow, it will be someone else who pulls out a knife and we will be killed. At the moment, when we see TV, there are always deaths.

France 3 Occitanie: Do you feel like you’re part of this?

André Nosjean: Yes, to other than me, I was just struck.

France 3 Occitanie: What did the doctors say?

André Nosjean: Monday, I have surgery. They’re going to get in my face. In three months, they will look to see if, you know, inside the nose, if it is not blocked. If I can’t breathe through my nose, they will operate on me again. But for now, we have to wait.

France 3 Occitanie: Did you suffer a lot?

André Nosjean: It is after. A few minutes after. I was pissing blood out of my nose. It fit in my mouth. I had to spit out the blood because I took a pill to get the blood thin. That the doctor made me stop. There, I don’t do anything. I’m resting. I sleep a lot.

I do not Don’t leave my house, except yesterday because I went to see the consultation at the hospital. I didn’t drive back either. I don’t want to go out anymore right now.
