Taha O, a 22-year-old Moroccan, was arrested in Switzerland. This Wednesday, November 6, he will be extradited to France, according to a source close to the case who confirms information from CNews. He is considered the main suspect in the murder of this 19-year-old student.
His body was found buried in the Bois de Boulogne on September 20. The young woman was a student at Paris-Dauphine University. The announcement of his death aroused great emotion. A tribute in the presence of 2,800 people was paid to him at the Saint-Louis cathedral in Versailles (Yvelines).
The main suspect in this case was questioned again this Monday, November 4, by the public prosecutor of the canton of Geneva (Switzerland). He confirmed his consent to being handed over to France according to a simplified extradition procedure, the Paris prosecutor's office indicated.
A turnaround, since Taha O had initially refused his extradition.
