The Pak Cash and Carry grocery store, located on avenue Paul-Vaillant-Couturier, in Arnouville, was the subject of a fermeture administrative decided by the prefect of Val-d'Oise Philippe Court.

Grocery store closed

This decision comes after a health check carried out by inspectors from the Departmental Directorate for Population Protection (Ddpp 95), Monday November 4, 2024.

During their investigations, the agents noted numerous violations of hygiene rules:

– Dirty premises with traces of significant infestation of harmful animals (mice and insects).

– Foods whose use-by dates have passed.

– Foods kept in inadequate conditions.

– Premises not equipped with devices allowing hygienic hand cleaning.

– Traceability of foodstuffs not ensured.

“As a result of these shortcomings, the establishment presents a serious danger to public health due to the risk of contamination or development of microorganisms and food poisoning,” indicates the Val-d’Oise prefecture on its page Facebook.

The closure measure will be lifted as soon as the establishment is brought up to current standards.
