Several individuals armed with baseball bats robbed the SFR store in Pertuis (Vaucluse) this Monday morning. Five suspects were arrested a little later by the gendarmes, we learned

This armed robbery took place around 9:30 a.m., at the time of the opening of the store located on the Route d'Aix. Passers-by then raised the alarm. The attackers fled, with loot, the amount of which is not known, in two cars. One of the criminals' vehicles was abandoned in Pertuis. The police arrested the three suspects who were inside, then two others a little later in the morning. The latter were traveling in a Renault Mégane RS reported stolen.
The five suspects, who are from the Lyon region according to a source close to the case, were taken to the premises of the Pertuis gendarmerie. An investigation has been opened. Asked, the Avignon public prosecutor's office tells us that four suspects,
“including a minor dependent on Lyon”were placed in police custody. The gendarmerie research brigade is responsible for the investigations.
Another SFR store was robbed in Alès, in Gard, last September. The three alleged perpetrators, aged 19 and 15, were arrested while fleeing, aboard a stolen car, while they were heading towards Saint-Étienne (Loire).
