Since September 2024, services has been located at 69, avenue Georges-Pompidou, in the premises of the former Moulins-Liot pharmacy. The inauguration took place Tuesday October 15, in the presence of Ludovic Hocbon, mayor of Fontenay-le-Comte (Vendée), Christophe Pécate, sub-prefect and representatives of different organizations.

The vocation of France Services is to support users to help them with everyday administrative formalities. It is a one-stop shop providing access in a single location to the main public service organizations for greater proximity. “It is digital support which contributes to the service offering for greater proximity in the territory with a network of actors”, indicates the mayor of Fontenay.

In Fontenay-le-Comte, two agents, Nelly Madin and Coralie Helier, are at reception to provide information to users. They are employees of the Mutualité sociale agricole (MSA) and have followed additional training to expand their areas of expertise and guide users in their procedures, because “our role is not to do it for them; it is to accompany them”, they emphasize.
