Development work estimated at 50 million euros should be undertaken between the municipalities of La Balme-de-Sillingy and Épagny-Metz-Tessy, in Haute-Savoie, at the end of 2026.
A major project for Haute-Savoie. By the end of 2026, the department hopes to launch its development project to secure and streamline traffic on departmental road 1508 between the municipalities of La Balme-de-Sillingy and Épagny-Metz-Tessy, north of Annecy . Still at the study stage, this project is estimated at 50 million euros and provides for a significant redevelopment of the axis.
The sections concerned by future work have been divided into several parts. First at the Croix Blanche, the Croix Blanche axis – RD 17 roundabout and the following axis up to the Seyssolaz roundabout. The latter will then be affected by a work session estimated at 2.7 million euros, including the creation of an underpass for soft modes. The rise of Chaumontet, the creation of its future roundabout (20.5 million euros) and the Grand-Epagny straight line will also be affected by the project.

Generally speaking, the development project provides for securing outlets by creating roundabouts, creating wildlife crossings and lanes reserved for buses or even widening lanes.
