Orchestrated by the District of Haute-Marne, the first autumn session of initial refereeing training (FIA) took place on Saturday November 2, at the Serge-Maizières stadium in Valcourt. This training takes place over three Saturdays, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., then a final session, administrative, which will take place on November 23, only for candidates who pass the exam. Ten candidates from the clubs of Moëslains, CS Bragards, Eclaron, Saint-Dizier Espérance, Marnaval, Montier-en-Der and Voillecomte took part. They were supervised by Aurélien Naploszek, president of the referees commission and by Loic Catoir, representative of the technical refereeing commission. A game took place indoors, then on the field. The rules of the game, the warm-up, including running, and questions on the laws of the game were discussed. The afternoon was devoted to pre-match preparation.
During the next sessions, direct and indirect free kicks, the reasons for warnings and the assistant referee will be discussed. If they pass the exam, the referees will initially be considered as trainee football referees. A second so-called winter session will take place in Jonchery, according to the same conditions, from Saturday January 18, 2025.
