Isère. Disappearance of a septuagenarian: searches remain in vain

Search operations to try to find the trace of Raymonde Boissenot, 77 years old, residing in the Grésivaudan high school district in Meylan and missing since Thursday in the middle of the day after having announced her intention to go for a walk on the heights of the common, were again in vain this Sunday.

The gendarmes once again combed the foothills of La Chartreuse, in particular the sectors between the Château de Rochasson and the place called La Bâtie, but without result. Friday and Saturday, the area had already been searched, the operation extending even further east, towards Biviers, and west to the Col de Vence. This Sunday, the sides of the roads in the area were also explored in the hypothesis that the septuagenarian had been hit by a car, but without result. The operation was stopped on Sunday evening but further investigations will take place in the coming days as part of the service.

People who may have seen the walker since Thursday noon can contact the Meylan gendarmes on 04 76 90 22 96 or dial 17.
