The bakery from rue de to Gasny (Your) still new owner since the October 16, 2024. L'Ami des pains succeeds Quai des pains.

Smooth transition for the town center bakery since there were no closing days. Christelle and Stéphane Caron are not new to the profession. Stéphane is a baker since 1983.

Their journey began in the Paris region, continued in Seine-Maritime, then in Oise, finally in Limay in , where the couple stayed for eleven years.

Real artisan work

“At the beginning of August, we found this deal and we jumped at the chance,” confides Stéphane.

“A beautiful little bakery, a very friendly village, the countryside spirit, that’s what appealed to us,” adds Christelle, who promises artisan work: “Everything is homemadebread, sandwiches, pastries.”

Of traditional bread hand-made and, on the pastry side, classics: mille-feuilles, apple tarts, éclairs, nuns, raspberry pies…

In short, no thunderous new things, like bubble gum lightning! Savory specialties will follow, filled bread, quiches, finger foods, pizzas… As for the first customers, they seem delighted.
