In Oise, bikers come together to help a mother who lives in precarious housing

They revved their engines in the quiet village of Hondainville, near Mouy (Oise). This Sunday afternoon, around ten bikers from all over Oise joined this town from Clermont, to provide loud support to Clarisse, mother of a teenager, who ended up in a mobile home at the Hondainville campsite.

“After my separation, I lived in social housing in Hermes, where there was infiltration and whose electricity bills were enormous,” explains the mother. I could no longer pay and I was evicted in October 2021. I found this mobile home alone, otherwise I was on the street. »

What was supposed to be temporary lasted and faced with the deterioration of this habitat at the Hondainville campsite, Clarisse stopped paying and has since suffered partial or total cuts in gas, water and electricity. After writing to the parliamentarians of Oise and even to the President of the Republic, Clarisse found support among the small world of bikers.

“I had known Clarisse for years and she asked me to help her make her situation known,” explains Pascal Bozo, president of the Rev’Heilles association. Among bikers, we do not hesitate to show solidarity and that is why I called for a rally. »

The mobilization was not as massive as hoped, but for the bikers present, it was important to respond to the call for solidarity. “If it helps and draws attention to their situation and finds a solution, we are there,” indicate Miguel and Loïc, members of the Riders of Picardie. We often mobilize to support sick or disabled children, but also for solidarity causes like this one. » With the help of a lawyer and this support from the bikers, Clarisse finally hopes to resolve her problems and find the small accommodation she has been waiting for for three years.
