Every year, the Department of Manche puts the spotlight on the sporting world.
On the occasion of the2024 editionfor the first time, the prize for best sportswoman of the year, best sportsman of the year and best team of the year will be awarded by Internet users.
The community is therefore calling on the general public to take part in the vote by connecting to the website www.manche.fr. THE votes are open until November 14, 2024.
The nominees
“Best sportswoman of the year” category
– Marine DELANOË, sea rowing;
– Stéphanie GOHIN, para-escalade;
– Youna LEMÉ, weightlifting;
– Caroline OSMONT, athletic walking;
– Alice ROBBE, tennis.
“Best sportsman of the year” category
– Éric DELAUNAY, skeet ;
– Julien EPAILLARD, horse riding;
– Paul LAPEIRA, cycling ;
– Johann LEPENANT, football ;
– Guillaume RUEL, athletics.
Category “Best team of the year”
– Men's team, Doublette Sport Adapté – Granville pétanque;
– Women's artistic gymnastics team – La Saint-Loise Gymnastics;
– Men's team – OHS Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, archery;
– Women's team – OHS Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, archery;
– Women's team – Granville Handball Secular Patronage;
– Team Pirou Association, horse riding.
A “Célébration sport Manche” page is accessible for this purpose on the website of the Manche departmental council.
For each category, the Internet user chooses his favorite among the names appearing in the proposed list. It is possible to vote for only one category. Only one vote per person is allowed.
The award ceremony will take place onuntil November 25th at Saint-Loise gymnastics on the occasion of the “Célébration sport Manche” evening.
