Children in this Lot commune are mobilizing in favor of blood donation

It is with real enthusiasm that the Municipal Youth Council (CMJ) of Lacapelle-Marival sponsor the next blood collectionorganized on Friday November 8, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the village hall.

Children promote blood donation

Made up of a dozen young students currently in CM 2 or 6^e at Jean Monnet College, the CMJ welcomed this challenge with the hope of finding new blood donors among their family members and their social network.

As for the local association of blood donors in the Lacapelle region, they are delighted to see this great enthusiasm among young people. The last collection of the year will take place on Friday, November 8 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Lacapelle village hall.

L’EFS (French Blood Establishment) constantly reminds us that the needs are as great as ever and that the mobilization of donors must be constant and calls for new donors.

Remember that you can donate blood from ages 18 to 70 if you weigh more than 50 kg after consulting the collection coordinator. You can make an appointment on dondesang.fr until the day of collection but you will also be welcomed without an appointment.

The snack will be enhanced with pumpkin and chestnut soup, depending on the season.
