Thursday October 24, 2024, around 10 a.m., an observation stood out to us: an indelicate stranger had left a quantity of cables, pipes, various ducts, and even a plastic garden chair, at the foot of the panel. 'ban! This distressing spectacle was located at the back of the Place du Foirail (i.e. near the Cressensac Festival Hall), in front of the platform where a dozen containers are placed for household waste and recyclables.

Stop illegal dumping

Yet another reminder to everyone's civic spirit… does it contribute to the prevention of these nuisances? In any case, these incivilities, such as damage to municipal property (like the tags on the walls of the Cemetery or the Cressensac Town Hall, etc.), the dumping of garbage in nature or outside dedicated containers, etc. cost, cost us, cost you, dearly, very dearly! This money would be more useful elsewhere, especially today!

This illegal dumping of various materials was carried out at the foot of the sign installed by the Municipality to signify the ban… Here is the message recalled by this sign: “So that the offenses of a minority do not impact the entire community , an investigation is underway… STOP illegal dumping. You definitely have a solution near you. Abandoning waste is an offense punishable by a fine of up to 1,500 euros (see articles R 632-1 and 635-8 of the Penal Code). A good tip to the author of this deposit, don't do it again if you want to avoid fines!

In conclusion, would video surveillance be a deterrent? Would better maintenance of these places be an incentive?

In any case, the verbalizations are likely to rain down!
