Tuesday July 30, the election ceremony for Miss Provence 2024 was held at the Palais des Congrès in Saint-Raphaël, in front of nearly 1,000 spectators. During this event, 14 candidates brilliantly paraded, but it is finally Mégane Bertaud, originally from Var, who was crowned Miss Provence.
At 24, the young woman from Saint-Raphaël highlighted her qualities of “kindness, authenticity, naturalness and curiosity” during the evening. “I was elected Miss Saint-Raphaël on July 4, and today I am Miss Provence. It's a huge honor and a great pride. If I could become Miss France, that would be incredible. I really hope achieve it,” declared the new beauty queen, succeeding Adélina Blanc.
Passionate about beauty contests, Mégane Bertaud, business management assistant, is also very involved in other activities such as horse riding, reading and dancing. In a presentation video shared on her Instagram account, she describes herself as a person “who loves to laugh and make those around her laugh”. “I am often told that I am sunny and bubbly. My smile gives me the strength to overcome life’s obstacles,” she confides.
