2. En Nord Beat – June 28 to 30, 2024

Bailleul

If you are looking for a more intimate festival, surrounded by nature, with alternative music, En Nord Beat is for you. This year, we will find Selah Sue, Mandragora, Shame, Ladaniva and Louis Victor on stage. The official website.

3. Main Square – July 4 to 7, 2024

Arras

Every summer, thousands of fans from the four corners of Europe converge at the Arras citadel, transformed into an open-air concert hall. This year, for the 20th anniversary of the festival, Avril Lavigne, Sam Smith, Louis Tomlinson, Sean Paul, Zara Larsson, Zaho de Sagazan, Eddy de Pretto, Bring me the Horizon, Justice and even Lenny Kravitz are performing on stage. 4. Jaaz Festival – July 4 to 7, 2024

Saint-Omer

For this 9th edition, we find familiar places, the Ruines Saint-Bertin, Place Victor Hugo, the Coffee Mill. The scene usually set in the garden of the Tourist Office moves this year a few meters towards Place Victor Hugo, thus reconnecting with the origins. The official website.

5. Elevator Festival – July 5 and 6, 2024

Canceled in 2020, then 2021 because of Covid-19, and finally in 2022 for budgetary reasons, the Youth Festival became the Boat Lift Festival, to coincide with the reopening of the historic monument in Arques. Two days of festivities are planned on the banks of the canal and near the boat lift

6. Opal Coast Festival – July 8 to 13, 2024

8. Les Misérables – July 26 to 29 and August 2 to 5, 2024

Montreuil-sur-Mer

We need no introduction, the Les Misérables sound and light show is a must in the region. Montreuil-sur-Mer is the scene of the first part of Les Misérables, undoubtedly one of Victor Hugo’s best-known novels. Every year, 500 volunteers wear the costumes of their ancestors and those of the characters from the novel for this show for more than 25 years.

After years with a story revolving around the gaze of Victor Hugo, since last year the producers have turned to another viewpoint, that of Juliette…

9. Touquet Music Beach festival – August 23 and 24, 2024

What better place to close out the summer festival season? The 7th edition of the Touquet Music Beach Festival will take place at L’Orangerie de la Baie. The cream of electro-po will be on stage: Amélie Lens, The Avener, Boris Brejcha, Fischer, Kölsch, Lost Frequencies, Feder… The official site.

10. Agricultural fair – September 6 to 8, 2024

Hazebrouck

The Hazebrouck Agricultural, Commercial & Artisanal Fair has existed for nearly 80 years and is an unmissable event in the region. The fair offers a very busy program: activities around the educational farm, cattle competitions, exhibition of old agricultural equipment, demonstration of old-fashioned threshing, caravan rides and setting up of a small train… The official site.
