US Brocas “Come in large numbers to support the blacks and whites” – DISTRICT DES LANDES DE FOOTBALL

This weekend, big shock for US BROCAS in the Landes Cup. Freshly promoted to Departmental 2, the club receives a big piece with ST PERDON SPORTS playing in Departmental 1. This match promises to be very intense between a playful and united team from US BROCAS and ST PERDON SPORTS which has just launched its season with his first success in the championship last weekend.

To begin this focus, what can you tell us about your almost faultless last season with a rise to the top?

Damien DORIZON : “For my part, it was my first season at the club as a coach with Cedric ROHAUT whom I have known for many years. Last season was good, we were undefeated in the league, but it would have been better if we had managed to get through the first round of the Coupe des Landes and the District Cup (Coupe Intersport Lasaosa). The mix of senior players and young U18 players took off perfectly and the results subsequently proved it. »

Is it difficult to adapt to this new Departmental 2 championship?

Damien DORIZON : “Yes and No.

Yes because obviously the quality of the opposing players is superior, whether tactically, physically and mentally. This was seen in the first championship match where we lost against an opponent who was superior to us. Since then we have produced 4 victories in a row. Which allows us to be 3th in this championship. Finally, we have part of our squad who have already played at this level, see above and for the other part of the squad, the desire to do well in every match. »

In a position of outsider, how are you approaching this first round against a D1 team in difficulty at the start of the championship?

Damien DORIZON : “We are approaching this Coupe des Landes match like all other matches with the objective of winning. Coincidence of the draw, with Cédric ROHAUT, we went to see the matches of ST PERDON SP at home this season, and we know that it will be a difficult match since ST PERDON SP has quite a few quality individual players. »

What are your goals in this competition?

Damien DORIZON : “Our objectives in this competition are to go as far as possible, to enjoy each match against superior teams. »

Finally, ritual question in this “Focus” section, what message do you want to send to your players and supporters before this first round of the Coupe des Landes?

Damien DORIZON : “Our players know what is expected of them in this competition and in this championship this season. Our supporters will be present as they are at every match, whether at home or away, and we want to offer them another victory at home.

Let's not forget all our leaders who are there all week and weekends so that we are always in good condition for training and matches. Come and support black and white people. »
