While the cellars are churning out the new vintage, the 6e edition of the “Salon des vins des Côtes de l’Orbe” will be held on November 8 and 9 in Daillens, at the Jean Villard-Gilles room. This year, the invited region is Ticino. Three transalpine cellars will therefore be present alongside twenty winegrowers from the foot of the Jura.

In addition to the stands dedicated to wines, a local market will offer various local products, from craft beer to charcuterie, including original preserves and sweets. Activities are also planned. A master class led by oenology teacher Alexandre Centeleghe will be dedicated to Pinot Noir on Friday evening (5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., 40 francs, upon registration). Saturday morning (10 a.m.-12 p.m., 20 fr.), tasters will be able to try the “golden glass”, stage of the Vaud tasting championship where they have to define the grape variety of six wines blindly. It will also be possible to win a wine cellar stocked with bottles through a competition.

Côtes de l'Orbe wine fair, Jean Villard-Gilles room, Daillens, Fri 8 3 p.m.-9 p.m., Sat 9 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Price 15 fr. (20 francs for two days). https://www.lesalondescotesdelorbe.ch/
