From October 24 to 25, at the town hall, for the fourth edition of its itinerant cultural event “Ô Rythme des Saisons”, the company with Cœur & Panache, offered two cultural events: its play “Our odyssey theater” and the show “Les contes du cantou”.

On the deck of the ship, the mast raised, the sails inflated by the wind, captain Marie Boudet and her second Günther Galbert wait for the sailors – the five participants in the intensive amateur practice course – to take the spectators on a crossing of the history of theater. “Our Theater Odyssey” sets sail to, through short scenes, take them from prehistory to the present day, from the emergence of ancient theater to contemporary creation, via Molière, Shakespeare and Feydeau.

From backstage to the stage, the actors also show them behind the scenes: the expressions, techniques, superstitions, mysteries and madness of theater.

With “Les Contes du Cantou”, as in the past during evenings where the elders told fantastic stories of dracs or fairies, of matagots and caves, Marie Boudet, accompanied by Rémi Dugué, tells a story of sharing, of memory, of 'imagination. A child's laughter that escapes each time she opens her grandmother's treasure chest and there she takes the audience on a journey from Brive (Corrèze) to Montcuq (Lot) and to the banks of the Lot river, in Saint-Sylvestre-dut-Lot (Lot-et-Garonne). A walk in the “heart of Quercy and memory” and a time where family memory and legends mingle. Two beautiful shows from the theater company Avec Cœur & Panache which delighted the audience, shared between laughter and emotions.
