The JA40 back-to-school union was held on Loïc Massy's farm in Tilh.
Françoise Tahéri, prefect of Landes and state services were present, allowing in-depth discussions on essential subjects for the future of agriculture:
Water management and irrigation practices – Cattle and sheep sectors (MHE/FCO) – Establishment of young farmers – Challenges of viticulture.
The JA40 designates the Young Farmers of Landes, a local section of the national organization Young Farmers (JA) and works to defend their interests, facilitate their installation, promote local agriculture and address the issues of the agricultural future in our department .
The association regularly organizes events and exchanges, to discuss important subjects such as resource management, support for new installations, specific sectors (beef, sheep, wine, etc.), and to collaborate with the services of the state and other regional actors.
