The Doctor Peter Van de Walle joined the workforce of thehospital of Guingamp (Côtes-d'Armor) at the beginning of October 2024. He is a practitioner in surgery general and visceral.
With 26 years of experience in visceral digestive and thoracic surgery, skin surgery and after a liberal activity, the arrival of the practitioner strengthens the surgical team at the Guingamp health center.
After his university studies and academic training in Belgium, the Netherlands and England, Doctor Van de Walle began his professional activity in 1998. He arrived in France in 2007 and worked in a private clinic for many years. .
A thoracic surgery project
At Guingamp hospital, he takes care of visceral surgery in its entirety: parietal surgery, gastric and gallbladder surgery, colorectal and proctological surgery and as well as surgery for digestive cancers.
He practices, among other things, minimally invasive surgery in the interest of the patient with regard to improved rehabilitation after surgery.
A thoracoscopy thoracic surgery project is underway in the establishment.
“I will put my skills at the service of patients and their families. My availability will be up to par, hoping to improve access to care and gain the trust of patients,” he indicated upon his arrival in Guingamp.
