This is the place to go if you want to eat delicious pastries. On October 16, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts rewarded the best pastry of the department of Essonne for the year 2024. And it is located in… !

Employees and apprentices also rewarded

Anthony Letissier, manager of the “Maison Letissier” bakery and pastry shop in Massy, won first prize of the competition for the best pastry in Essonne 2024. Jérémy Leygue from the “Pain Sucré” bakery, in Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil, climbs to second place. He is followed by Stéphane Guichard from the “Les Petits Gourmands” bakery and pastry shop in Athis-Mons.

Please note that for this 3rd edition of the best pastry competition, all the candidates were judged on making a batch of individual pastries composed of 5 - and 5 apple tartlets.

This competition also rewarded employees. In this category, Laureen Lecomte from the “Les Petits Gourmands” bakery and pastry shop in Athis-Mons won first place. Ali Khaldoun from the “Les Gourmets d'Etrechy” bakery in Étréchy came second, and Julie Golven from the “Pain Sucré” bakery in Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil came third.

On the apprentice sidefirst place goes to Mamadou Aliou Sow from Maison Cerf in . Followed by Alissia Gautier from the “Pain Sucré” bakery in Saint-Germain-lès-Corbeil and Adrien Sampaio from the “Les Petits Gourmands” bakery in Athis-Mons.
