On Saturday June 1st, Trébaïx was the scene of an exciting race with the 16 km Trail, an event eagerly awaited by trail enthusiasts. The participants (151 for this 16 km) were rewarded with a demanding but enchanting route, crossing varied and picturesque landscapes. The competition was intense, both for the women and the men, with sprint finishes that kept the spectators in suspense. Among the women, the race was particularly close. Justine Tissandié took the victory with a time of 1:35:57, crossing the finish line just one second ahead of Charlotte de Brander, who finished in 1:35:58. Isabelle Bottreau, with a time of 1:36:15, completed the podium. The minimal gaps between the first three demonstrate the intensity of the competition and the determination of the athletes. On the men’s side, Julien Courdès dominated the race with an impressive time of 1:07:44, setting a strong pace from the start. Stefano Barbieri took second place in 1:09:50, followed by Fabien Delpy who finished in 1:13:31. These results demonstrate a high-level competition, with remarkable performances that delighted the public. The 16 km Trail of Trébaïx offered an unforgettable experience to participants and spectators. The runners appreciated the beauty of the route, alternating between forest paths, steep passages and panoramic views of the valley. The flawless organization, supported by a team of dedicated volunteers, contributed to the success of this event.
