In France today, 2 million elderly people are isolated from family and friend circles. Among them, 530,000 people are in a situation of social death. How to act to fight againstisolation of the elderly ?

Supported by the Municipality and the Department

Open to the public and supported by the Municipality of Limogne-en-Quercy and the Department of Lot, the Petits Frères des Pauvres invite you to come and discover, exchange and experience an adventure at the Baraque à Frat.

La Baraque à Frat is a mobile team that organizes friendly times throughout the Lot. Volunteers lead group meeting times (workshops, games, snacks, etc.), lead people to activities at the Baraque à Frat and join this team to act against the isolation of elderly people.

This action is carried out with the support of the Conference of Funders for Prevention and Loss of Autonomy of Lot and the town hall of Limogne-en-Quercy.

Since 1946, the Little Brothers of the Poor have been fighting against the isolation and loneliness of elderly people, primarily the most deprived.

“The heart of our action is to create social bonds around the person being supported. Recognized as being of public utility, the Petits Frères des Pauvres association is non-denominational and apolitical,” explains Louis Rosas, social development coordinator in support of the Lot volunteer teams.
