Lack of host families in Chaudière-Appalaches

The Chaudière-Appalaches Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) is looking for host families ready to accommodate young people in the region.

We are looking for 50 new accommodation places for our children and adolescents, particularly in the Beauce sector.mentions the youth protection department of the CISSS in a press release.

Recruiting new foster families is essential to prevent children from being accommodated in closed environments, unsuitable for their situation or far from their community, activities, school and friends.

In addition to families: the authorities also invite single people, young professionals, semi-retired people or couples without children to volunteer.
