While the transfer window is in full swing, the Briançon hockey club Diables Rouges published a message on Facebook this Wednesday, May 29, which caused a tidal wave. This message indicates that Thomas Raby will no longer be part of the team next season.
Problem, the athlete did not seem to be aware, because he responded to the message indicating that he was “delighted to learn it”.
The post had the effect of a bomb. The Red Devils club took it for granted, many Internet users reacted to support Thomas Raby. “Good luck! Courage! Shame on this club”, “Thomas Raby, all my support, the way of doing things is shameful and unworthy!”, we can read in particular.
An unofficial departure
According to information from BFM DICI, Kevin Igier, the club’s new recruiter, told the young Briançonnais hockey player that he would talk with the new coach to make a decision on his future.
But Thomas Raby has had no news. He then contacted Kevin Igier who told him that after reflection, “it will be complicated to offer you a contract I think”. The departure of Thomas Raby was therefore in the pipeline but it was not official.
